Back in San Diego, Week 23 photo, beginning Week 24 tomorrow

We just returned late last night from visiting family for Christmas, and I already miss everyone! The 8 hour drive is never fun, but we survived the trip. I think Irie was very happy to be home and out of the car.

The baby bump received lots of attention during the trip. It was the first time that many (if not most) family members have seen me pregnant, so it was fun sharing this new experience with everyone. We ran around a bunch trying to visit as many people as possible, and we got to do lots of fun things during our few days home. The bump even went ice skating (very slowly and carefully). On Monday we drove towards Tahoe until we found snow, and had a few hours to sled and build a snowman with my nephews before we headed back west again.

 Irie was in HEAVEN. She ran around like crazy, burrowing her head and body in the snow, causing clumps of snow to cling to her face, legs and belly. This was the result:

Next up.....we are going to the Rose Bowl on Friday! Wisconsin vs TCU. I'll post pictures after the game. Can't wait!
